Install u-boot
 
Hello,

I want to install uboot but when i am trying to install i get this message.

Code:
The following packages will be REMOVED: kernel-power kernel-power-modules
I use in the consolse to install uboot.

Code:
apt-get install uboot-pr13
Is it safe to remove the packages and install the uboot?

Because i wanna make a dualboot with Meego. :)

I did the same thing and nothing happens ;) but as you can see the kernel power will be removed but anyway do it at your own risk

You should definitely save that U-Boot before overwriting it with RedBoot, you may want to restore it in the future and others may be interested in a copy of it.

U-Boot is much more feature rich than RedBoot which is only a simple boot loader while U-Boot is a boot loader and monitor program.
