Importing birthdays from facebook
 

Is it possible to import facebook birthdays to your calender.. I mean i know face book gives a link to merge birthdays in google calender for android but that's not for maemo..
I recently came across hermes which imports info from facebook and can also create birthday contacts but they dont appear on calender..
I mean I only want birthdays in my calender not contacts..
I hope there is a way or else i have to enter manually..

You can use syncevolution to sync the birthdays calendar from your N900 to a google calendar. For this You should create an extra calendar in your google account. You can display this calendar with a different color.
I have not synced my birthday calendar with google, but I have synced more then one N900 calendar with google and it worked. Just see the instructions here

With facebook..i don't know..it does with Skype...
