there is your answer.
easily found.

telegram option works
but whatsapp has locked up their service, making it virtually impossible to rework for the n900.

I highly suggest using the "search" button to find the thread topics you need.

I highly suggest posting in threads pertaining to your query.
People who are familiar with said topics will most likely be monitoring those said threads and you will get more feedback pertaining to your issue / questions.
You will get more help that way, than starting brand new threads all vaguely titled "Question."
Such titled threads don't aid you.
Nor do they aid anyone else looking for an answer that may be found somewhere inside the dialogue of your thread titled "Question"

when everyone here has the ability to use the search function to find the threads they need..
and failing finding a related thread to post in, everyone here also knows how to state in their thread titles SOME information on the topic they need help with..

Next time I see a new post titled "Question" or anything like it, from anyone,
I will be making sure not to bother even looking at such posts.

Re: Question

Is it worth it to use N900 again? If there was better support for communicator (whatsapp -Skype - Google talk - Telegram) Mozilla Explorer or another .. the truth is that I liked the Maemo operating system.

Really? Google, Microsoft and whoever runs Whatsit ignore an OS released officially by a reputable company, nota bene one to which they had previously ported their applications already, but they will trample over themselves rushing to support an OS released by a bunch of Johnny Unknowns who bashed it together in their spare time in their bedroom? Kewl!

(No disrespect to Leste developers. I am trying to describe it from the point of view of said companies, not necessarily from mine.)

Re: Question

I heartly agree with @pichlo here; Leste or not, there's not going to be whatsit for the devices

And this is A Good Thing because whatsapps and their ilk is not something you want on your devices.

Re: Question

I am sure he was not talking about closed source software as Skype or Whatsapp, but more likely for Telegram and other messaging applications...
Anyway, it makes no sense to use such an old devices if you need it

Re: Question

I was referring to telegram actually...since I use it :D
The big corps.?
Yeah....I guess they are a wee bit of an impediment...
:D
I forgot all about them...
:D
which hopefully we may all be able to do in the future..
:D

For the n8x0's the bulk of the apps still are pretty bulletproof and run fine...and use them out and about for music and film...and at home in the studio...
My n900's I use less...and don't really know the state of the current apps ...as much...so couldn't say...

and after so much fiddling with the nexus 5's of mine...
I think I am there to stay ...
I am torn between using Bliss OS and Maru OS at the moment...
and have ditched straight Lineage OS ...as my daily driver...
until Leste is ready for the nexus 5...that is...then I will see whether it takes precedence...
