So "apparently" Nokia has ruled-out Skype entirely... :(

Hopefully we'll get an answer on their thoughts for a XMMP/Jingle (GTalk) client.

If both of these are nuked Peregrine remains our only hope (or Tango, should we setup a petition?)

It's not clear if they're still implementing XMMP/Jingle "&" Skype as originally/boldly planned.
But I haven't looked into it all beyond the story above, so go crazy folks.

Also want to see this happpen! Is there any logic reason why Nokia devs shouldn't implement this? Can't think of any good reason!!!

Could a large number of N9 owners call Nokia support and "innocently" complain that the Skype app is broken because we are unable to make video calls? Would that possibly make Nokia budge on their decision?

BTW, tried the one in OVI 1.1.6 and kinda found it frustating as it conflicted with the builtin one.. hope the video one comes with this fixed aswell.

Don't give up hope yet. The N9 is only 3 months old.
