Forum app? You mean microB? Didn't know there was one :)

On topic, I thought TMO was playing up. Been browsing the web on my touchpad a lot lately so could not be sure (it can be flakey at times)

It was down on my end too, from yesterday evening through this morning. :/ Hopefully they'll get the uptime back under control.

I can also confirm at least two outages in the last few days.

You can find the tmo app on apps.formeego.org

For the N900 I had started a python app for this job but it's unfinished. You can find it in devel (tmoread)

It was down for me as well earlier today from three different ISP. With all the news going around I thought TMO was under DDoS lol. Then I thought who would target us...

Re: forum down?

Yes, twice this week. The httpd service has gone down twice and didn't restart every around 3:15 (GMT -5). It is not everyday thought so I'm still looking at the cause and it might be because of a server monitoring software I had installed on the server. I have made some tweaks so hopefully it won't happen again.

Thanks.

Had the problem of the forum being down again at 08:00 UTC.
Happened three days in a row now about the same time.
Any ideas why?

Re: forum down?

I'm aware of the problem. To be more specific, Apache (httpd) goes down every after cpanel update -- and that is about 4pm (EDT). I'm still isolating which php extension is causing it.

cpanel does not update everyday and when it does, it does it automatically. If you notice that the forum is down, can someone email me at reggie (at) maemo.org or tweet to @rsuplido so I can get notified immediately?

Thanks.

Using my N900 to browse TMO at the moment and I'm being asked to log in while navigating the message board.

Anyone else having the same issue and are the admins aware of a potential problem.

I'm not aware of that particular problem. Can you describe the problem more?

If I'm not logged in while browsing the forum I'm being asked for my u/name and password when navigating the forum. i.e just clicking a thread heading will take me to that thread but once there MicroB will throw up the login request. Also when I do log in, I'm asked to do so twice.
Could be a bug that's suddenly manifested itself in MicroB (unlikely as it's never happened before) or a stubborn bad cookie.
