Can the N9 beat this?

http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/featu...ne_multita.php

With a little practice I think it actually would. I never use Twitter, so I don't know about that though.

29sec, thats easy enough, :D

Re: Can the N9 beat this?

My fastest is 27seconds on the NOTE.

Unlocked, Swiped right.
Hit Widget to start track playing music.
Swiped the widget to scroll through emails, clicked on one (went fullscreen).
Swiped right again on Calender, swiped it for next month to see the 17th.
Hit the camera button took a picture.
Uploaded it f directly.
Hit Home and finished

I guess I can do it even faster if I set it up a little more effeciently.
The only problem is, I don't use Twitter and don't save events (though Calendar is useful)...so this test scenario is really not indicative of your smartphone's performance...at least for not many people.

Eg. I don't have a music widget, I play tracks off the Lockscreen (MIUI lockscreen).

As you say, that test scenario is not indicative of the phone's performance, but neither is it indicative of ANYTHING.

You opened e-mail, calendar and who knows what else in quick succession so I suppose you didn't actually READ anything. You took a random unfocused photo of who knows what random object.

FOR FVCKING WHAT?

Some day I think I don't understand this world.

Chillax.

I only did it because I was curious to see how the beast would stack up in this challenge. I know if you tweak things right (regardless of phone/os) it makes it super-fast, but I don't see the point in doing this since its not indicative of my use case...or possibly anyone's use case. Looks like you're the one who didn't read correctly.

I guess you may need to restart your education, if something like that is so trivial that it flips your world up-side down.

I agree that coming in a few seconds slow in a test like this is pretty meaningless. What it REALLY measures is the competitiveness of the user.

@Kangal,

I know. My rant was not directed to you, but to these non-sensical competitions.

LOL :D a bit oversensitive maybe? It doesn't really matter. It's like specs. Quad core is cool, but on a phone it is overkill and a more advanced dual/single core would be better.

However, it does show one thing, the N9 is effective, and that's cool.
