How to download RepoMirror
Just recieved a brand new N9 running SW 1.2. Wanted to install RepoMirror but ran into a problem: The browser won't go to that site. And downloading manually doesn't help much either since i don't have any means to install that deb-package. Any ideas ? Install 1.3 ?
Error is (roughly translated from German): Unable to open website. EDIT: Put that file on own server. Didn't help much, won't download. So my problem is different from those who are unable to install. I'm not even able to download that file |
Re: How to download RepoMirror
downloading the deb manually should add it to transfers. and you can install by touching on it in the transfers page

Re: How to download RepoMirror
Unfortunately- no. Clicking on download-link (found one on mediafire) produces an error: Unable to download, type application/vnd.debian.binary-package not supported.
How come Meego Harmattan won't support .deb ? Installation from unknown sources is enabled. |
Re: How to download RepoMirror

Re: How to download RepoMirror
That's strange, never happened to me. Does PR 1.2 not allow to download debs like that? I have always been on 1.3 so i don't know.
U can try installing PR1.3 or do you want to be on 1.2 for some reason? Also before that you could try to wipe/restore device, as you got it recently, i imagine it won't hurt to do that. |
Re: How to download RepoMirror
Thanks. Nothing to wipe. The device is new.

Re: How to download RepoMirror
The problem is downloading with your n9, right?
What if you download repomirror .deb file https://openrepos.net/content/ancelad/n9-repomirror in a computer and copy it to your n9 via usb cable? |
Re: How to download RepoMirror
a) mediafire: Link from here: http://beunlike.com/comment-retrouve...n9-sans-nokia/
b) sure i can copy that file. But what then ? There's no way to install it afterwards, is there ? Nevermind. Updating to 1.3 did the trick. Thanks @all that helped. |
