The N8 and 808 runs Symbian. Symbian existed long before Nokia set it's floppy fingers into it. It was used on Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola smartphones for many years. It is only a couple of years ago since Nokia bought all of Symbian.

So yes, the Lumia 800 is just as much "Nokia proper" (or not) as the 808 and N8 is or isn't.

Following your logics, none of the Galaxys are Samsung Proper. None of the Xperias are Sony(Ericsson) proper, none of ... and so on. You are talking nonsense.

My poiunt is:

N8, 808 and N9 is running QT. N9 has better camera tha Lumia 800. N8 has better camera than N9.

Lumia **** device does not have better camera than any of above and does not have QT.

So what has it that is RELATED to any of above!?

Its just shitty marketing strategy to made people THINK its related and they may think: "I dont have money to buy 808 I better go for that Lumia device instead it probadly not as good camera as 808 but atleast goiod enought" when fact is its less god than N9.

Atleast N9 should be on the list too!

Actually Mikecomputing is right there is absolutely no relations between the PureView and the Lumia 800.

Yes, it probably should, but related here means nothing. Besides, 99 out of every 100 would purchase the Lumia 800 instead of the N9. Most people will be more satisfied with WP than MeeGo whether you like it or not, and the camera on the N9 is nothing to write home about.

Actually 99 out of 100 people wont take either the difference is that the Lumias where shoved in peoples faces and people don't care while Meego was hidden by Nokia but a few people went out of their way to get it.

And mikecomputing said that the N9 camera was better the the Lumia 800 not that it was the best camera around

Same on the Swiss version of Nokia website. The website only talkes about Lumia and Nokia Belle - where the heck is MeeGo? Btw, N9 is officially sold in Switzerland...

When you click on Lumia 800 or 900 you don't get to see the section "related phones", but if you click on N9, one of the biggest sections is "Related phone, Lumia 800".

Also you can't rate the N9, while its possible with the Lumia 800 (although reading those reviews Nokia should rather turn this option off). So short-said: This website only shows the N9 if you search for it or choose overview of all phones.

How ridiculous is that! Nokia must really be desperate and it's another sign that they just can't sell that Lumia-crap well...

The N9 camera is not the greatest compared to other current high-end smartphones, but it's about on par with the N900, while the Lumia 800 camera is far worse.
