[For Sale] Nokia N950 Meego Harmattan Dev Kit with original box
 

Final version with 16GB eMMC.

The condition of this device is used with minor signs of wear but I also have the original box for it. Even the screen and camera lens protector is still there :)

I have flashed the last Harmattan release PR1.3 to this phone. I can also share the software image, flasher, emmc content image, source code pakacage of the open source pieces and the openmode kernel on a USB stick. Please let me know if you have use for these.

The device is located in Finland and I can ship it anywhere in the world with Finnish postal service. Shipping cost is 41€.

Ironically for a collector you may well have diminished it's value by upgrading the device software. As LED bleed can appear at any time upon these screens now, suggest that you are open to sensible offers.

It is always nice to see a working SIM in place, in case SIM adaptor has been used in the past which can so easily damage the pins.

Because its a “collectors item” and just like any other antique, more original, more valuable.
Kinda like dont repair those old victorian furnitures, its valid decreases.
Just like, even having opened the box decreases valid really.

I bet that we can find the PR1.2 image somewhere if the deal depends on it. I was just stating the facts.

Mine is mint as it came with software and box in perfect delivered condition :D
For "toying" and usage I bought me a used one with the famous display 'feature'.
BEST device ever (beside the N900 of course ;))!

Downgrading such a Harmattan device could at least be technically feasible as you reside in Finland, although you would have to know whom to ask.;)

Wouldnt it by this time be perfectly fine to release information on how to downgrade by out (unnamed) Finnish friend here ?

I mean, absolutely nothing exists anymore for out devices, from Nokia nor Microsoft.

But that would not change the situation much. Instead of having a unique, prototype image blatted by a stock, run-of-the-mill PR1.3, you will have a unique, prototype image blatted by a stock, run-of-the-mill PR1.2. If anything, the value would only decrease because it is an older image. I would leave it as it is.

Mind you, since the device is used anyway, the image does not really make such a big difference.
