Just another email problem on N9

Hey,
I digged through tmo and the web, but could not find my specific prob (I know there are tons of mail probs/threads).
I set up three imap accounts, which are working fine for inbox and all other folders. But when it comes to sending, it is weird:
I always get
'Sending the message didn't work. Please try again later.'
but checking the Outbox: is empty.
checking folder Sent: only mails sent from other clients.
checking the Inbox of receiver: mail has arrived.

So shortly: phone tells there is problem to send, but sending works. And I loose those emails, as they are not stored anywhere. Wtf?

If someone knows, please enlighten me!
Maybe I just did not see the tree in the woods.

Re: Just another email problem on N9

Is the sending problematic only on one/some of the accounts or on every one of them?
As you know, sending is usually done via SMTP and receiving via IMAP, so could there be some problem with the SMTP settings?

On all, using secure ssl (465) or tsl (587) smtp ports. Same configuration as on my N900 (which is of course working flawlessly).
What really strange is that actually mails are sent, but with error and no storing. Really annoying. Crying for PR1.4 ;)

Re: Just another email problem on N9

I enabled logging and indeed the sending does work without errors (according to the log and reality). But then I am a bit lost in the logs to find the reason for the error message and the not-storing.
As I know from N900 it is not possible at all to get mails sent from N900 automatically into the Sent folder on the mail server (as all mails from all accounts are stored locally in one 'Sent' folder [I know the workaround :)]). Something similar here on N9? Or what???

Or could above (N900) be an explanation? N900 does definitely not store sent messages on mail server. So maybe settings? But what, there is just port and security?
It does work for N9 users?

Nobody else experiencing this?

Were do you find your sent mails? Locally on device or on mail server?

I just had another WTF!
l started to write a mail, then needed a rest and closed it answering to save as draft. Where is that draft? I could not find it locally on device nor on mail server.
Maybe open mode problem (did delete aegis dirs, not flashed back-to-back)?

I had the same problem. Many of us gave up N9 due to email problems. Good luck

Yeah, and I already switched it on, too. ;)

When looking at the single mail accounts, there is no draft (@soryuuha, read message, not folder) in any account.
But when looking at ' all messages ' and then switch to folder view, I see :
Drafts (1)
Sent
Trash (437)

Re: Just another email problem on N9

I answered to an incoming mail.
So the "from" was the mail address to where this mail has ben sent and received on N9 (obviously an existing account).

Really strange is that I do see that there is the number of ONE draft (in 'All messages'), but cannot access it.

Oh dear NOkia.
