How can I delete maps manually?
 

(i have a running Winscp and root access)

the reason is I would like to install the most recent maps but the update function can not overwrite the old maps

As map data is stored in /home/user/MyDocs/cities in folders 0 - 9 and a - f should be accessible if connected to PC in mass storage mode to drag to trash.

Be warned however that by installing map data manually although maps should be functional there is no indication under Manage Maps > Installed maps within Maps application of their presence.

I have another problem when I go to the device in maps manage I see the manually deleted cards still! In which path do I have to delete these references?

I just want to completely reinstall the cards and delete all the old ones
