Nokia N9 - Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango?

Nokia N9 - Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango?

Any chance of getting this OS working with N9?
Since NITDroid is already possible, and Lumias "wear" this OS..

are you on dope or something? :D
i don't believe that nobody would want to port that (no to mention that wp is not open so probably you will not have even basic functions)

i agree, it would be nice to say "oh, i have that somewhere in apps menu, it runs much faster than yours" and fire it up like EasyDebian :D yea, i know what you're talking about, but...we don't like closed things, noooo, we don't (i personally don't have much against, but look around, it's all nux geeks, i would be afraid to mention wp or something like that :P :D)

I am not afraid anymore :P
I just think that Harmattan and WP OS's are amazing.

Better than Android, Symbian, Bada, etc!

now i will kill you :D symbian is much better than wp or android...
i can't speak for bada since i've not tried it, but honestly, symbian^3 is one of best oses and i would love to run it on x64 pc.
however....lack of intelligence in some areas are pain in the *** for end users...:S

WP7 is locked to Snapdragon chipsets only, the N9's OMAP won't run it. WP8 might change this, however because MS charge a licensing fee per device sold (as compared to Google, who don't) there are more roadblocks in the way.

Not to mention, you won't find anyone on TMO who'd care enough to do it.

If you are talking about Symbian Belle! Yes, it has improved a lot.

well, i would disagree because symbian was much better when it's ui were written in native c++ (not qt as now) but kernel it self could benefit from some better solutions and not like now.
however, i do like how's belle designed, but i am still running anna
