(no) More updates coming for N9
 

no confirmed timeline, but there are people who fights for N9's update inside Nokia.

EDIT: before people jumped like kangaroo..there no confirmation wheter its FW update, or stock app update..

I think it's just some stock app updates.. like Twitter.. I hope it's more than that.. But I seriously doubt it.

let see sailfish on N9, still waiting news from Jolla.. ETD end Fed 2013. Not too sure.. just hope.. :D

They have to update harmattan twitter client due to incoming API change in twitter. N9 is still sold in some countries and they can't have apps broken as default. Nokia does only what it must when it comes to N9, I think it's simple as that.

Still hope somehow PR1.4 gets released, many features have been implemented in the trunk just need to get integrated and tested..

Considering the high ammount of bugs listed in the dead bug note over @ Nokia, it would be nice if they would release at least one more upgrate - most likley to fix the Facebook app problems + wlan security issues. But oh, I have always been a hopeless hoper :D

The same team who did pr1.3 and are based in Accenture with job supporting "Meego IT" are the ones doing the updates...

So does it mean there are still people working on N9 @Accenture, or are they just there as the last fire fighters for any emergency updates? I do not believe Nokia contracted Accenture for regular improvements...

AFAIK Accenture took care of them by forcing most of them out of their job..but I am not an internal and I only heard rumors, so meh.
