How do I get Cleven working?
I am new to the N900 and a noob to Linux. I am studying and learning it every day but still on a novice level.
I have Cleven installed and would like to be able to use it without getting an error saying that my hardware is not compatible or that the kernel is not suitable. What would my first step be? I already have Extras-devel on the app manager. I have Goggled and searched this forum for a step by step tutorial but I am a little bit stuck. Can anybody point me to the right direction(thread) or explain the step by step process. How can I tell what kernel I have installed? I have updated Maemo 5. What kernel power should I install? Ta |

I know, sorry Jedi, but I am desperate and the old thread didn't explain as much as this new thread.

If you read the changelog at the bottom of the wiki it will tell you which KP. 2.5-2 should be KP50 4.1-1 should be KP51> It is best to install the (development version) 4.1-1 and KP51 as this comes with the wlan drivers. AFAIK there have been no reported issues. It maybe a good idea to read the Cleven Thread |
