I got one for the first time, and would like a few hints especially related to current software packages.

If you want 100% new you could try in some old shops of telephony franchise, than spanish Movistar, in 2015 i had bought a new one for 120 euros.

Another chance is buy in chinesse online market than aliexpress or ebay refurbished models.

Have you seen one in a store at all in 2017? I've not run across one old stock in any store since 2014 personally.

But that is interesting... add that to the list of possible places. I just don't trust eBay unfortunately.

Anyone in Australia wanting to sell me one? Or overseas too, but postage may make it unaffordable. I have $100 AUD cash

If anyone in the UK wants a cheap one for spares (or knows how to fix them), I've just put mine on eBay.

It seems that there are still quite a few forgotten N900 out there, "sleeping in desk draws".

The most popular classifieds site in Australia is "Gumtree" (?), which has a section where people offer stuff for free. Some nice things will show up on there & advertisers get messages within seconds of posting. I posted an ad; ~"wanted: N900 for cash" & got 3 responses within a day. One guy down the road just needs to find his & the 2 others are waiting for me to offer more cash.

I love it.
Gumtree.
The name and the function are perfect.
Throw money at it and see if it sticks.
:D

I think it is an excellent concept for a trading site actually.
What a great way to find stuff...
