Please post the full installation log, without that it's hard to help you.

Unable to install 'WarMUX'
Application packages missing: libsdl-ttf2.0 (>=2.0.9-1osso+0m5)

Just run:
Code:

sudo apt-get install libsdl-ttf2.0

cheers, but can anyone explain why this has happened?

why is the game dependent on a package that doesn't ship with the platform?

Re: cannot install warmux "missing SDL library"

Most likely you didn't have standard PR1.3 but with careless apt-get (or maybe faster application manager) usage you had uninstalled/replaced system libraries.
