What does this have to do with Nokia?
Nokia licenses the label, is not responsible for the SW that runs on the devices which carry the label.
Though there might be some moral questions, I do not see any wrongdoings with it - the fault happened years ago, when they decided to ditch all of it for nothing anyways.

Exactly that. If you look on silently whilst others do things in your name then you are responsible.

Me too ;)

That's actually my thought every time my Xperia X boots up with the warning regarding bootloader unlocked an so on. The same goes for locked bootloader with Google original :D
