Misc MeeGo questions before I take the plung

Greetings,

I am looking at purchasing an N9 and have a few questions.

1. Maps - Google maps is the only maps that has POI here in Vietnam. Is there a way of doing POI lookup in a application and then using that in Nokia Maps? Offline maps will be important for me as I will travel throughout South East Asia.

2. Spell Checker - Does this exist?

3. Multiple Exchange - I haven't found a clear answer but I will need 2 accounts setup through Exchange

4. Server Side Search - is there any way this can be done to look for emails?

5. Office - Is there any plans for an office editor? Currently I still will be able to open office documents?

6. Micro SIM - I travel and purchase prepaid... IS there an easy way to cut regular SIMS into micro SIMS?

Thanks for your help.

I don't use POI so I can't tell you. Google maps doesn't work on the N9. Offline maps does work on the N9.

Not really, but you could always buy a sim puncher tool...

^ Thanks for the quick reply...

The reason POI are important for me is that I'm often looking to meet someone at a business or cafe, etc. None of this is loaded into Nokia Maps here. The roads/directions are fine... just need to be able to supply the address and it should be good to go.

Are you vietnamese ? POI means Point of Interest ? I don't use POI but I think Nokia Maps have POI in Vietnam .
You have an amazing app called Nokia Live View to search for POI ( now it's Nokia City lens) :

You have some local app to search for POI like An Choi, , Trang Vang ( yealow Pages ) :

regarding Microsim vs regular sized SIM: I just used scissors and it worked fine :-) No need for extra tools...

6. Micro Sim:

Just look it up on youtube and you'll find plenty of guides on how to trim down your normal sim ;)
