Help with new N900*
 

Hi everyone,

I'm a new member with a issue I didn't see coming... Over the past two months I've been ordering new old stock parts for the N900 and I finally have a finished phone new shell, case, buttons, LCD, Digitizer... you get the point... (mobo is used)

my issue is I can't find the files to flash the phone to the 2012 latest maemo update! nor can I find the flashing software and when I use the OAV off Microsoft site the software cannot connect to the server.

Can someone please help me out with good links to firmware?

I reiterate the call for some very very VERY obvious sticky or monster-strobe-flashing banner on the front page where these can be found (as long as there is no proprietary legality issue of course...)

failing that...if it isn't possible... then at the very least ...said front page banner should have a statement easily directing people in need to individuals who do have the files and can share them.
Something really needs to happen here. 2nd time today in a different sub forum

I can't tell you how nervous I was after spending $350+ on parts and not being able to find firmware...

I or someone else I'm sure would have pm'd you and offered you access to whatever you wanted/ needed from their's or my storage vault...
