after reading tizen 2.0 sdk and source code release thread i knew that someone for sure will create a thread for porting it to N900.

isn't tizen is heavy for N900 ? 256mb is quite low. I'm also willing to see a tizen port for N900 and install it on my N900. but don't know whether anyone will give it a try.

I would love that. Unfortunately I'm not skilled enough to make that happen :(

yes i'm too interested but same like you i don't have any skills. Skilled developers should atleast give porting Tizen to N900/N9 a try. Who knows may be Samsung support Maemo and becomes a sponsor after seeing support from this community.

Define what you mean with open source and what os is open source? Meego/Harmattan, do you consider that open source?
