Fake N900 on eBay?

Go to eBay.com and do a title and description search using the terms Nokia N900 "dual SIM". This is a fake, right?

I guess they pulled it down then. It was up several minutes before I posted. It had 20 bids and was up to $617.00USD. In part the description read "OEM Nokia N900 dual sim dual standby with FM Camera Bluetooth MP3 MP4 player"

why would you buy it on ebay when the price on ebay = retail?

I wouldn't buy it on eBay at that price, even if I thought it was genuine. I was surprised to see a dual SIM version at that price level. I am assuming that dual SIM is an option available only from counterfeiters. The real issue for me was it's genuineness or lack of it.

i'm betting a of lot international buyers are probably looking at ebay as a source for the phones. nokiausa doesn't allow international cards and most other retailers are still pre-orders

Well, if there ever _was_ a N9xx with dual SIM support I would be first in line to pre-order.
