As you say, about time too.

OTOH, how long before there are more user interest sites than there are users? If they got this far without a user forum, might it have been better to throw support behind an existing forum (like t.m.o ?)

Actually as I checked it out it seems to me more complicated than the current TJC structure.
I am sure that must be because it is new and askbot is familiar to me :)

I wonder why they did not just port the userbase over from TJC, now one must re-register to the site "by self" even as the same jolla-credentials are used.

My first experiences -
1 - When typing a post, the text box is in a separate layer at the bottom of the screen, and doesn't pop up, so the keyboard hides it the whole time.
2 - Works normally with SF browser, but gives an error about outdated browser with any others, (even on one Android browser).
3 - When signing in for the first time, my TJC user and pwd were automatically filled in, but I was registered as a new user, and when I attempted to post my first post, I got my account temporarily disabled(?)

Upon desktop browser you see associated email address 0Auth2 login and that previous "username" available, but still confusing that have to click upon the blue box "New account".

I figured out the hidden text box issue - there's a drag handle to move it up ...

ORLY  (well done, me too :))

And that helps for how many lines?
Especially in landscape (my favored writing) mode?
