UK: 1GB Sandisk RS-MMC for £42.90 + delivery

Summary:
  • 1GB Sandisk RS-MMC card
  • £42.90 (best I've seen online)
  • £1.90 delivery (UK, 2-5 day)
  • link

I've just ordered a 1GB card from here:
http://picstop.co.uk/MultiMedia-(MMC...(RS-MMC)---1GB

It's a bit of wierd URL, so here's a tinyurl copy:

I've never used the shop before but, looking around online, they don't seem to have a bad reputation.

It's the best price *I've* seen, though I've not looked particularly hard. It certainly beats any high street store price I found this morning in my small town in the Midlands.

Cheers,
jc

I think I'll wait for the 1GB low voltage cards at:

http://usamemory.net/dvrsmmcmemory.html

The 770 will accept both the RS-MMC and the DV-RS-MMC (aka. MMCmobile). My usage patterns require I get as much battery time as I can.

Are the lower voltage cards a lot slower ?

I have just received the 1gb card from picstop. I copied some images across to the new card and subjectively it seems a lot quicker than the Nokia card was. I ordered from picstop on thu pm ad it arrived in today's post, so very impressed with picstop.

the voltage can be lower but the access is faster !
And the current might be higher too ... who knows !

This place had 512Mb MMCmobile cards for £17.99 last week but stupidly I didn't order one and the price is now £23.99! might drop down again though...
