Looks amazing. Although this is based on word prediction right? Means if you use some words he does not know you will be typing slower then a handicapped turtle.

Just create phones with a damn hardware keyboard for .... sake.

Easily implementable on N9 via custom layout, but anything less than 10 inch is not a good place for MINUUM

I don't know if this would really speed up my typing on a phone, the keyboard is small enough that i can reach everything really fast with 2 thumbs, on a tablet, yes. I hate typing on a tablet, its to spread out for thumbs, and since you have to hold it there is no great way to do it that I have found.

I fail to see how would this make writing experience on mobile device any better. With widescreen devices this would make typing a pain if the bar is not resizable, even if it is resizable you would loose the ability to type with two hands. For me this is like a fancy one-row implementation of T9, instead of 9 we now have 27 buttons tightly positioned next to each other.
