I need flashing

I need the flashing tools inorder to flash my N800 as well as Turbo Diablo ISO if anyone can help me out with the files and directions on doing so? I know this is a old product but any help will be appreciated.

Re: I need flashing

The same hurdles that you would have tracking flashing utils and firmware down for the n800 is the same hurdles for the n900.
And to make things as clear as possible ...
Sure it's been around 2 years longer than the n900 but that is about it.
It isn't about it being old.
It still kicks butt against alot of garbage that's out on the market.
It's about the majority of members migrating to the latest and (for the most part many members simply) leaving the last device behind.
Even still...we have many members who still use the n8x0 devices...
That being cleared up....

https://web.archive.org/web/20131117...g/tablets-dev/

get the bottom (last) of the listed firmware downloaded to pc. for n800
if using linux or mac pc check out the subcat. of misc. with the various flashers.
if using windows xp/ 7 simply use nokia software update wizard....a link at papywizards page is for the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard

http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/...d_on_Nokia_770

...for windows users it is simple and easy.
Just make sure you run the prog. as administrator ...

Also....one of the links below has explicit instructions for setting up your n8x0 perfectly...including a video tutorial.

Re: I need flashing

Thank you so much I have all four devices I know they are awesome: I have the N770, N800, N810, and N900. All are fully functional besides one of my two N800's I managed to get it stuck at boot up when trying to install Mer on it. I will definitely download all of the information as soon as I get to my desktop later in order to keep all these precious files saved. Again I can't express to you enough my gratitude for replying so quickly!!

Good to see another multi-nxx0 user here...hrm...ambi-maemo user? multi-maemo user? ...ach...I'll ponder a cool name for it later...
and yea...aren't they all just the bestest-est-est each in their own way eh?

Hey on a side note would you happen to have simple directions for running the os off of the memory card rather than the internal onboard memory? I found a video last night but it seems the links are expired. I am looking to run this configuration on both my N800's and N810. Thanks for your help in advance.

Re: I need flashing

As far as simple, easy, or even understandable and hands-on showing...I don't think there is an easier way than the method I deliberately explained in layman's terms. With the comprehensive no-nonsense 10 min. episodes in 10 segments vid tutorial in the 1st post of
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...22#post1458922

I suggest you read the instructions (and in the requisite posts) on the uber walkthrough and have what you need on your pc downloaded prior to starting... and to keep it simple follow the directions and have all the web addresses needed opened in their own windows prior to starting to keep the process smooth and as painless as possible so you aren't hunting or flipping through stuff while trying to keep your focus on the tasks at hand.
It may take a few run-throughs to get it (understand it that is..if you have forgotten ...never got around to it ...or for the newcomer..if you are really unfamiliar with the n8x0 or in general new to maemo or linux) just stick to it and if there is a particular prob you are having ...just shout.
