Re: how to really use Ctorrent?

go read docs on ctorrent website. all is explained in detail. Basically, find a *.torrent file, then run ' torrent whatever-name.torrent '. Spice it up with cli options.

Re: how to really use Ctorrent?

You need to have the full directory name.

If your file is in /usr/home/torret.torrent, then you need to type :

ctorrent /usr/home/torrent.torrent

my file is in documents folder so i have to type :

ctorrent /usr/home/documents/torrent_file_name.torrent ????

If thats correct I still get the same error "No such file or directory
error,initial meta info failed."

I'am not really sure because i dont have used ctorrent, but I guess it would download files in your current directory where you have launched ctorrent. At least rtorrent does like that.

Re: how to really use Ctorrent?

It's going to download where ever the *.torrent file is located. The way I do it is to move the torrent file to one of my sd cards, then do the download thing.

I moved the torrent file to sd card and launched it from there it finished downloading but i couldn't find the file in the same folder where the original torrent was, or any where in the entire sd card directory.

Do you know whats wrong?
