Wallpapers Image set
 

Hi everybody !
I opend this thread so everyone can share their image sets , so we will have no trouble finding some good wallpapers !

This is the drive with Nokia 770/N800/N810/N900/N950/N9 and Jolla

Details :
480x854(Nokia N9/N950) -> 18 photos
540x960(Jolla Sailfish) -> 0 photos
720x480(for all) -> 95 photos courtesy of endsormeans
800x480(Nokia 770/N800/N810/N900/Neo900) -> 3770 photos
Other Resolutions -> 0 photos

The photos are divided in subfolder due to google drive 500 files limited for a folder for sharing
When you want to download a photo , you need to open then click on the download button to get the full resolution photo
Help me and the community by adding other pics and Image sets that are in .deb format would be really appreciated :)

I use these ones (I have more...but I didn't want to fill the page here :D) all the time on my Nxx0 devices.
So rez's for these is 720x480 and 800x480.

The (obvious b+w) shots I took during various sabbaticals in africa and the arctic almost 30 years ago for some paintings I was doing ...I have them to remind me of the good times and cool people I've had the opportunity to hang with.
The stone hut I ran into during one of my cross-country ski jaunts.
The single figure is one of me....during a sketch and painting jaunt with friends during the fishing season up in the arctic....I found it pretty darn haunting.
The others are diverse film or tv icons ...the avengers...emma peel (:D) ...
the prisoner..a dalek...from doctor who...
My "Punisher-ux" :D (coolest linux penguin around :D)
and some other cool walls (not my art....get bored with lookin at your own stuff....)...my kraken pulling a sailor under (my wallpaper for with a "mer"-ish theme for mer on one of my n800's)...ogham plates in wood...and painted prints....from a few centuries back...up until the beginning of the 19th....My stamp collection from when I was a kid ... and bookcases...I love my own bookcases and books...especially the feel of hardcovers...and found a couple good images of bookcases I liked that really "fit" the screen size well....so yeah...here is a few of my fav. cool wallpapers I keep gravitating back to...

As you can tell from a few of them I like having wallpapers that are unobtrusive and uncluttered for the central workspace...and so edited, cut and modified a few (especially of the iconic tv/film images) to occupy the far right rather than filling the screen and confusing the workspace...an aspect I like more than trying to find the cursor all the time with a beautiful but busy wallpaper.
As well you'll notice a few wallpapers where the image isn't the height or width of the screensize real-estate.
I personally don't care much for a busy background at the top of the screen under the status bar
or in the case of my N8x0 devices ...any wallpaper pattern that rides behind the left side bar. I don't like the serenity of the wallpaper being cut off abruptly.

While I mostly cut my own this is great considering that the prismic app has not worked for http://n900wallpapers.com/ in over a year and now that URL turns back a host for sale site.

As I believe this thread is meant for N900, can you please change the tag in front of the title to M5?

SFOS means Sailfish OS
M5 = maemo 5 fremantle
M6 = meamo 6 harmattan

NUH-UH!
no ...don't change the tag...or if you do ...better add M4 (and some serious diehards may want even earlier release sigs)
Perhaps people posting their wallpapers should state the resolutions and devices they are used on currently.
Even make sub-device categories if the desire is to make a kind of database (good idea...since our Nxx0 community has some of the coolest wallpapers around :D)

Assuming it is just for the n900 will limit alot of cool wallpapers.

For example the ones I posted I have diff rez.'s for my devices and so use the same pics on my n900 and n800 and n810.

If the title were non-inclusively specific... for Sailfish or n900 wallpapers only ...
I probably wouldn't have posted anything at all.

Thank you all for the replies later i will download all images and i wil make a dropbox or maybe google drive and categorize all the wallpapers by their resolutions or devices
So everybody please upload their pics so we can have a one place that we can download wallpapers !

Crap man I have a ton of walls for my nxx0 devices...enough to setup a freakin' site...
I'll look through them all...and I may add a few others I like....to complete the top walls I find perfect for my Nxx0's in aesthetics, beauty, content, and form....
but I won't flood you....promise.
