guessing you mean openssh. The simplest way is to enable developer mode (settings->security->developer mode) and it installs both client and server plus xterminal automatically for you.

haven't tried or looked into installing it so no idea how it's done. Quick google search let me to the nitdroid forum's thread [1] about sillyboot that has this disclaimer:

Anyway I'm not anyone to tell you what not to do. It's your device. for setting up ssh over usb connection take a look at [2] and after setting things up do "ssh root@192.168.2.15" from a pc, etc.

I hope you're at least a bit familiar with working in Linux terminal

there is also opensh and it is part of inception.:

ssh is there out of box

that´s right, the OP was thinking of opensh_1.00_armel.deb as a part of Inception, I guess...
how to install or better yet incept that one?

okay so I now know how to use opensh BUT when I tried to install sillyboot as per this thread http://forum.nitdroid.com/index.php?topic=127.0
I got this message "can't remove old file sbin/preinit: Permission denied" .... any idea on how to get around/fix this?
