[Resolved] Question about QtSDK's 'publish to extra' feature

I'm having problem with packaging using the 'publish to fremantle-extra option in QtSDK. I got the following message when doing the packaging:

Code:

-unix is deprecated.

Then the process seemly stopped. I waited for 15 mins without seeing any action and the computer doesn't look busy at all. I tried google the information but I don't see many maemo-related ones... could anyone help me? Thanks

Re: Question about QtSDK's 'publish to extra' feature

Has it not finished now, and you need to manually submit the *.changes and then *.tar.gz and *.dsc files to Extras Assistant?

Alternatively perhaps it's trying to upload them for you, did you have to enter your login details anywhere?

Thanks for the reply!

Well, I aborted the process.... I will let it run overnight and see how it goes. I use 'do not upload' option for now.

Do you know how long it usually takes for the packaging+uploading?

Re: Question about QtSDK's 'publish to extra' feature

After leaving QtSDK running(or idling) for a night, it didn't generate more messages. I checked the project folder and still didn't see any trace of .change file. I also tried to start from scratch and used a simple QtQuick example to test, but it didn't work, either.

Any idea?

Re: Question about QtSDK's 'publish to extra' feature

I found these two references
1. Add custom build step to generate package files
http://qt-funk.blogspot.com/2011/02/...le-source.html
2. Change qtc_packaging/debian-fremantle/rules for MS Windows environment. For the build-stamp step, I found adding only "qmake" is good for me
http://raeda.blog.com/2011/02/19/upl...-from-windows/

Then I used Maemo extra assistant and it worked!
