Just got a N9, how to get Google and Live working?
 

Saw this N9 for sale, just could not resist, really liked the device when it came out, still a great device.


But the OS was completely abandon, and have problems login to google and live account with exchange setup. It there a way to synchronize contact, email and calendar on the N9 with those accounts in 2016?

Also plan to get a Jolla OS phone, to test how far this great OS have come.

What do you want from Google?

An e-mail account is working.
But no G Talk (or Hangout or whatever called).

Was calendar sync with Google possible at all? No idea (never would do that)

Google calendar (even multiple) should work via CalDav:

The only problem we could have with gogle contacts sync, here I'd recommend using M$ outlook.com and exchange setup that should work

Hi. When trying to get around the sign up for maps, I happen to notice there was no /home/user/.config/Nokia/Maps.ini file as described in the wiki. But I could make the same change in the /home/user/.config/Nokia/Maps.conf file and the maps then worked fine.

That is okay as there should be
Maps.conf
as well as
Drive.ini

Yes. Thanks. Ok about that. But was wondering. Satellite maps look quite outdated. How do you update them? Is this service still supported? Thanks again!
