N9 Bluetooth in Car
Hi,
My Ford Focus is fine over Bluetooth for Phone calls but I have to manually type in numbers and I cant open the phone book using my cars menu meaning I can't even use the voice recognition to choose a contact to call. This is not a vital feature but it would be nice if it was working and very useful :) Could anyone shed any light on whether this feature could be added? |

My wife's car kit works fine

I also have no problem with my N9 and Pioneer Avic F500BT.
Pairing, transferring phonebook, auto connect, calls - all working as expected. |

Any ideas how to get it across? |
Re: N9 Bluetooth RSAP
rSAP isnt really supported on most of the models (it really is _not_ standard at all), your better off if you change rSAP to Bluetooth UHV.
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/roc...P_to_Bluetooth Likelyhood for that protocol to be added for N9 is round 0.01%. |

I wonder how to let my Ford see my phonebook over bluetooth :S |
Re: N9 Bluetooth in Car
The N9 works great with my Pioneer AVH-P4400BH. I can access the phone book and setup contact favorites. I also integrated it with my steering wheel controls and can do most things hands free.

Re: N9 Bluetooth in Car
unfortunately mine does disconnect/reconnect every 2 minutes or so... except if I am connected in audio mode. The strange thing is that if I connect to audio for a couple of minutes and then switch the car back to radio, the disconnection problem goes away until I turn off the car stereo.
The same stereo worked fine with N95, android, N900, 5800 etc |
Re: N9 Bluetooth in Car
i have a Pioneer F910BT, all works fine. Go to Ford and ask if there have a BT Car Radio Update, maybe you have luck.

Re: N9 Bluetooth in Car
Hmm seems odd, I don't get why manufacturers don't just have a standard for this crap and all integrate bluetooth the same f**king way!!
