QStarDict

QStardict is a dictionary app for MeeGo Harmattan. Developed using the engine from QStardict, and a new QML UI. This has been published on the OVI Store for a while.

first of all great app!

I'm facing an annoying bug (?) since I reflashed my N9 a few days ago. when starting qstardict it tries to connect automatically. before I could use qstardict in offline mode. moreover I don't see any sense in it since all the data is stored on the phone's storage. reinstalling, deleting cache and installed stardict dictionaries didn't solve the problem.

is there any way to disable this behaviour?
I'm abroad quite often and would love to have such a nice offline dictionary as yours just like before :)

it checks internet to view if there are more dictionaries available, I'll try to detect if there is internet connection before loading the xml data.

let us to browse the dictionary from a to z, just like browsing a physical dictionary book

Nice idea but I'm not adding new features at this time, just bug fixing. I'll release a new version soon with improved rendering and fixing the issue about network connection.

bUg report:
1. wIth multiple (more than 20) dicts, the loading is very slow. POtential fix and thereby a feature request: allow to enable some dicts (the way mstardict for Maemo does, not like dictionarystar)
2. sEarch blocks the ui - should be multithreaded
3. some dictnames in the dictionary list are cut off
