MPD on HE2007/2008/OS2006?
 

Anybody here having been able to install MPD on 770?

I bought a NAS and was hoping to be able to use it as a http streamer for my N900, but the fact is that an ARM 1,2 GHz is not enough for audio encoding. I was hoping to be able to use my good old 770 as MPD server connected to stereos and controlling MPD from N900.
I have not been able to install MPD on 770. Last time I tried to install it to HE2008 I ended up emptying complete file system...

seems a bit of a monolog...
I managed to force install all chinook packages on he2007. Now I do not know which device to point to in mpd.conf in 770

Help anybody!

I'm also interested in this topic, finding another use for my wsoded device.

Bleh, can you set up a new install from a memory card? I'm in a similar position to XTC, finding a use for an old WSOD. If I get time I'll try and help out :3
