"The Sharp-made D4 uses Intel's Centrino Atom platform to run Windows Vista Home Premium SP1. It has a 1.33GHz Atom Z520 on board, along with 1GB of 533MHz DDR 2 memory and a 40GB 1.8in hard drive.

I had a LifeDrive... The biggest problems arose from it having a hard drive! If the memory was some form of ram it would have worked out better. So, besides the fact that I don't need windows on my phone, unless it has flash / nvram/ some other form of non moving data storage, this would be out for me.

These truly lack direction. It is very small, thus sacrificing a usable keyboard, a large battery and a nice screen, but it still has to be transported in an extra bag... thus defeating the purpose of smallness entirely.
For that matter, the screen is only .8in larger than the N810's, although the extra footprint screems for something much bigger.

The price is pretty good, all things considered; looks like the "very small" form factor is about to become a lot less expensive now that we have off-the-shelf (err, for lack of a better word) hardware for them.
