A no nonsense thread solely for the purpose of discussing what's in the title.
For those whom are tired w/the flame-wars WRT whether Nokia/N9 sux in this thread N9: It's finally here
Personally I'll make that assessment when I own the phone, & can compare it to my others.
Please play fair folks, I know some users are bitter about the direction maemo/meego/nokia's taken.
But please leave that for other threads, that's not the official directive of this one.
I'll keep this post updated w/all the unofficial facts we know to be likely, if others get me started ;)

Went today to Nokia's flagship store in Helsinki and talked into some trainees there asking where is N9 on display. Response was "we'll get some prototypes in August", no real date known by them. Note those were trainees as other sales folks were busy with real customers trying to buy N8/E7 or asking to sell them iPhone.

Anyway, thanks for the initiative, I'm sick of whining and i-am-an-idenpendent-thinker-and-analyst posts, let's have at least one useful thread with relevant info.

Oh crap that looks pretty good... So ditch this & contribute to that you reckon?
I have a fair bit of info. I've gathered myself, plus there's a few other community/user sources.
But perhaps our interests are best served by rallying around the one thread only.

Dyin for a touch screen. My E71 has been pissing me off lately. Seems like i've been holding out for this N9 forever. Praying for pricing/availability in the next few weeks....
