Help: Does my device is normal?
 
hello everybody,
i am a new user of n900 want to ask & apologize me if this subject is repost.
i just uninstall a few app from my device like Media BAR for maemo5, Horizontal call and desktop clock. suddenly my cpu % load strange (for me) and i see it from my system info gadjet.here the list

open application:
conky

aktive cpu:
1.Xorg
2.hildon-home
3.hildon-status-m
4.hildon-destop
5.dbus-daemon
6.mce
7.pulseaudio
8.conky

the device in 250mhz (in conky)
for number 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 (i see from conky)
the usage % always goes up & down from 2% in too 26% (in system info gadjet) they eat cpu and always repeating, never stop. Does my device is normal? cause my battery draining. Please help me Thx. :)

do you have cssu testing , thumb and kernel power installed
give more information please

@sourav.dubey: im don't use cssu and using kp50 with the latest fw pr 1.3.1, but in generally is that normal cpu always running up from 1% into 26% and never stop clocking of % in this case im only run conky on desktop with frecuencies 250mhz thx my friend.

It's hard to draw a conclusion from the information you've provided, but I'd say it looks OK. Please define "draining". All batteries drain, the question is how fast :)

Install powertop, open a terminal, type "root" or "sudo gainroot" and then "powertop". Lock the screen and wait a minute, then unlock the screen and post here the results (at least the table at the beginning and the last two lines).

for this condition im using opera mobile, conky and terminal-X. how about my device reinob, please help me thanks..

OK. The number of wake-ups is a bit high, but if you did this while running conky and opera, I guess it's OK.

In my case, with only terminal, I guess 16.7 wakeups/s (2.8 HW wakeups/s).

You could try it again closing everything except the terminal. If you really think you have a problem (how fast is your battery draining anyway?), you could post the full output of powertop (do "powertop > /home/user/MyDocs/powertop.txt") and then paste the contents of powertop.txt here.
