[N900] orientation lock - does not work

From what I've read, 'orientation lock' in the status menu should do just that, depending on when you call it, lock in landscape or portrait.

For me, that does not work, when invoked while holding the device in portrait, it rotates back to landscape and locks it like this.

Looking at my sources in fapman, I've got r.m.o/community-testing in there and the device does not show any updates available.

So, misconfiguration, misunderstanding or something else? Thanks.

yeah..this is a feature i miss a lot too, hopefully being develloped by cssu team but not implemented yet...we will have to wait buddy.

Oh, so I did have a misunderstanding and it's not even possible currently? That's a shame, everything I use works at least acceptable in portrait here.
