n810 flash drive compatibility
I've read that some flash drives draw too much power to be used in host mode by the n810. Does anyone know if a list of working drives exist? I'm yet to find one. Specifically i'm looking for a 32+ gb flash drive and would like it to work with my desktop and n810. Thanks.

Re: n810 flash drive compatibility
If you're looking for that size of drive, you might want to consider a portable hard disk with its own power supply, that can also be connected in host mode (it works just like a Flash drive) because it doesn't draw any power.

Re: n810 flash drive compatibility
I'd prefer to not have external power so I could keep things as portable as possible. Also I could use gps maps and mp3s in my car

Re: n810 flash drive compatibility
I just need a 2GB flash drive. Currently I use Sandisk Cruzer micro 2GB. Is that compatible? Or as was asked is there a compatible USB drive list.

Re: n810 flash drive compatibility
I don't know of one, but if there is, it'd probably be in the wiki. If there isn't, you can start a page, and post a link here encouraging people to add their info...

Re: n810 flash drive compatibility
2G Corsair is fine.
I think it makes more sense to post flash drives that have problem rather than flash drive that is working. I believe anything, flash drive included, that does NOT draw current will work. bun |
Re: n810 flash drive compatibility
I don't have an IT as yet. I'm still doing the feasibility study.
