maemo.org sprint meetings

Hi all,

I thought I'd start a thread over here in t.m.o to echo what is being said in the mailing lists about the maemo.org sprint meetings. Some of us don't like mailing lists, and so we miss some very important information.

The maemo.org sprint meetings are where the paid maemo.org employees report their progress for the last month, and take on tasks for the coming month.

They happen on IRC, on the #maemo-meeting channel on the freenode IRC servers.

If you want to be present when your community team is communicating what they are doing, the sprint meetings are the place to be.

Oh, reading the title I thought maybe Sprint (which I am still paying, under protest) had some kind of deal with maemo...

Here is the log of the IRC meeting.

IRC Log

Good news for getting maemo.org onto newer, faster servers:

X-Fade: Realistally we will switch somewhere next week. We'll switch some services even earlier. But the main maemo.org/garage/repository switch will be in one big bang.

EDIT: Here is the (still empty  ) January task chart.

Yay, scrum.

I'm not sure it's wise to let people like me know about these :B
I'll try to unlearn this information so I won't abuse it.

Edit: (In case it wasn't obvious, this was a poor attempt at humor while at the same time being impressed about how open your process is).

Sorry I was on vacation this past week.

(VDVsx, are you still chairing the meetings, or have we passed the chair position to Neils yet?)

Thanks, I forgot to post that info here :).

I chaired the meeting, Neils is on vacations, but this change needs to be proposed first, I think the best option here is let the next council decide, since we only have one more meeting :D
