the packages are on extras-devel for a long time already. feel free to try them. there are a few threads already its usage.

Does it come with mysql, php support ?
I have tested Asterisk for win32,
and support is not provided by Digium.
Traffic at win32 forum is very low.
I tested IVR and need to test text2voice,
voice2text.
As voice2text is like voice control, not supported on n900
please tell me about state of the art in Asterosk on N900.

I have seen this in the repositries, but can I ask why you would want to run Asterisk on the n900

Im struggling to wonder why you would do this (unless it was the sip client only)

Mobile Asterisk I already installed on laptop.
Now I need something smaller.
Ipad is not coming with 3g, so n900 is another choice.
There is a number of full Linux embedded devices, unfortunately not coming with LCD display.
So why not n900 ?
Is n900 to slow to run asterisk, low on memory, low on bandwidth ?
