Good OS abandoned, why?
I am talking about Maemo to begin with followed by Meego and now webOS, any ideas my learned friends?
have been playing with HP touchpad for few days now, I like it even tho it has ifs bugs and limited list of apps and games but still II is good and has multi tasking capabilities but not as good as Maemo. HP has abandoned it so no more support on it and the community is not as aggressive as Maemo community |
Re: Good OS abandoned, why?
WebOS is not abandoned. HP is trying to license it.

Re: Good OS abandoned, why?
Because 'good' is subjective.

Re: Good OS abandoned, why?
Because people apparently love carrying itunes everywhere and let apple remove stuff from their cell remotely. They love never getting some calls and texts. They especially enjoy their fart apps and malware and they enjoy fragmented OS. They love being monitored by google and apple so much. and they love it it just works and stuff :p

It was reported a few days ago that HP will be shipping more batches as they continue to manufacture units in order to deplete the remaining touchpad components. |
