I like to answer all user queries, but yes it is easier if you post in the application thread, which is located at http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=982353. Otherwise it is easy to miss something. Also, if I answer in the application thread, it is easier for other users with the same problem to find the solution.

I imagine that your problem is related to either a missing dependency or a conflict. Try running the application from the terminal by entering

Code:
/opt/usr/bin/qmltube
You should get some errors in the terminal that will help to explain the problem.
