Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
Does it ask you to download the package of devtools at least?

Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
it has me agree that it will have to download and then restart, then the next screen says that it cannot do it.
i tried to directly download the files from the http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/pool/...eveloper-mode/ it installed the developer mode qemu, but would not install developer mode 1.8. when starting to install, it just stays on the install screen until i close. i left it trying to install for over an hour today. i just need to be able to get root.... :/ my firmware is 20.2011.40-5.100 yes, that is a 44-5. so i could not even reflash to the 40-4 because it was backwards. :/ |
Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
i got this working by reflashing all the images, fiasco and emmc. and do not recover your settings after that, make the developer-mode install first.
Why you have 40-5.100? That should't go out... i think.. |
Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
when trying to flash the device, as soon as flashed gets the firmware version, it cells itself out and says it cannot flash backwards.

Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
Yes, you have to reflash that same 40-5 or newer, but where you got 40-5 :)
|
Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
if you got it from store, you have to get new one with 40-4.. If you working at the Nokia, then you can get new firmware.

Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
from a developer.
i will most likely have to deal with it until pr1.2 comes our then. thus firmware is a but buggy and choppy. pita |
Re: Unable to enable developer mode on my n9
ask she/he to give you that fiasco and emmc image or wait the pr1.2.. it should not take too long anymore, but i have been wrong before :)
