Peregrine Communicator on Mer systems

Weird, I posted a question to Peregrine devel list about the project's status. No one answered it, though it appeared in the mailing list archive: http://wiki.peregrine-communicator.o...ce/mailinglist

Next day however it simply disappeared. What can this mean?

This project has been canceled and the last update was 3-4 month ago . For more info see jalyst posts in the video call thread .

I was asking, why would someone instead of answering a simple question with something like "project is cancelled", censor out the question from the mailing list?

Most of the stuff around this project seems to be handled in a manner that supports me uninstalling it without issue. Seems like too much around this project was just handled oddly where communication was involved.

If you do ever learn anything more, please do post in the original video-chat thread.
I agree their whole behavior has been very odd (as doco'd in the main thread), not sure what their problem is exactly.

Looks like they are working on something after all (at least as of May 9):

But their own mailing list is silent. Hopefully it'll be available for Plasma Active / Mer on Vivaldi and may be for Nemo too.
