Just thought I'd let you know, there is a clean looking n900 for sale for £99 in Cash Converters in The Concourse shopping centre in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

It's still there and I'm going to make an offer on it. It is advertised as being on o2. I thought it was only vodafone that was sim locked in the UK. Does any one know if it could be sim locked to o2 uk or does the seller not have a clue what they're talking about?

AFAIK it was Vodaphone firmware nothing a reflash can't fix.

I would take a good look over it, be careful of fakes and nearly dead devices.

Big gave aways are:-
*N900 cardboard box not black inside
*Made in Finland not Korea inside battery cover.
*Cheaper quality, obvious on back cover.
*Hammered keyboard keys
*Rounded screws behind slider

Slightly worn keyboard, dent on bezel, made in Korea brown tray, no screen protector used, crap stylus. screws are fine. Looks like it's been used for texting. Bought it for 80 pounds.

I'm not sure if even a cheap N900 is worth a trip to Skem. :p
