No Christmas sale for the Ovi store?
 

I have just noticed that the Ovi store does not appear to have a Christmas sale and/or any selected discounted items for the season?

Not wanting to sound cheap and all but the App Store, Play and even the webOS Catalogue are running sale items, why not ovi?

Probably apathy from Nokia's side. They just gave up on Ovi some time ago.

Nokia doesn't care about us anymore (Maemo, Meego and Symbian). We also now don't care about Nokia as we have this great community.

nokia are so much dependent to microsoft to sell windows phones.... Microsoft need so much nokia cause they are the only manufacturers to sell theses damned phones. Put Meego/tizen/maemo on the lumia phones and i bet a lot more people will buy them.

There are vendor side offers , that are given sometimes, free for limited time, etc... But the mechanism in Ovi store doesn't allow for precise timing of content price changes. Hard to do from our side. Also, it's unimaginable that Nokia wud take any initiative, coz sales even the figures are hardly uupdated nowadays.

looking on the other side, we probably won't have many ecosystem with so much open source and free apps ;) It's a christmas everyday for us
