My N9, and it's $crewed.
 
I was happily messing with my N9, while it was connected with my laptop, charging, peacefully. I hear "Hey, go get some stuff from the mini market." I'm like "yeah sure, just a min" and I disconnect it. I get in the elevator and unlock it, oh the horror. Everything messed up. All icons misplaced and doubled. Although I can't find the other copy of their .desktop files. I can't call. I can't make a text message. Whenever I turn it on, I have to wait like 50 mins to make the status menu look normal. Not like your normal issue, I literally have to wait 50 mins to make it look AS IT SHOULD BE. My keyboard doesn't function, I can get it to show, but I can't type anything. P.S My laptop has no viruses what so ever. And to make sure of that, I formatted it 6 days ago.
Help.

Can you be more specific? Happily messing... how?

Your problem sounds like messed up packages or a corrupt file system. The latter might be explained by pulling the cord while connected in mass storage mode.

I reflashed 7 times, emmc and rootfs. BOTH.

have you tried the system restore available trough settings? Helped me quite some times..
