I've seen some pretty interesting on the net

Has anyone already tried it? Can / likes someone something for Sailfish programming? I think that it could really be very useful. Or what do you think?

What happens when I want to plug in headphones? On the other hand if this was adapted as an other half idea it would be perfect IMO

plug arrived today, its regognized as headphone with a button. So audio mutes on device, but button works just fine, on media player button-event stop/plays the video. So basicly you could do a custom application for taking screenshots as such. Downside is that audio is routed to plug/NULL, so you might want to figure out how to not route audio to headphone when its connected.

so i receive mine, too. Your right, it Play/Stop Audio/Video. But no sound if its connected to the phone. the Phone think it is a headphone connected.

is it possible to create a toggle to switch between Headphone and Pressy? and put some combinations like, "2 times short press" to skip to next audio/video file and "3 times short press" to prev audio/video file. Or short press + longpress to record from microphone or any other cominations!?

i got mine today and nothing happens if i plug it into my jolla c. maybe it doesn't work in general on jolla c? do i need something else? do someone know how this little thing works? maybe i could write an app :)

I thought I'd check this out, so I went directly to kickstarter page to read comments and wow!, there are a lot of p|ssed off people, complaining more about the marketing/email spamming than they are the product.

It seems a few have had theirs snap off inside the headphone socket and someone even mentioned about having to unlock their phone before being able to use the button, which also sometimes gets stuck in one position or the other. Still, what does anyone expect for a few quid/bucks/euros.

It's similar to Xiaomi MiKey and apparently has same behavior on SFOS (no sound because phone thinks it is headphone).
