Buy external charger. Charge battery. Backup data from N900 to PC via Wifi or bluetooth.

According to Nokia, via Wind Mobile, the N900 will not be offered in Canada. Reports are that US models in Canada have no warranty....

Someone on the Wind forums claims to have had word from Nokia that Nokia will offer the N900 in Canada 'very soon'. This would be handy for any warranty support....

It might be useful to gather this contact information for the head of customer service for as many countries as possible. Some reasonable letters to them might get good results.

Things seem to be turning around now. We might consider collecting stats on who has had their n900 repaired and who has not.

The next nagging question is if the replaced or repaired units will...

AFAIK there is no evidence to suggest that this problem is limited to any particular batch or production run. I am assuming it is all of them including what is rolling off of the line right now.
