when i type
echo root:$(grep -A 13 lock_code /dev/mtd1|tail -1):

it gives me " permission denied"

whats the problem please help me

when i type the command

~$ sudo gainroot

it give me the message " Enable RD mode if you want to break your device"



please help me how i can solve this problem.

what you mean only root has access. i get the same error.

"grep: /dev/mtd1: Permission denied"

Please help how to type it.
